Biography
Pastor Lawrence is the spiritual leader of Vision Church in Greater Metropolitan Detroit, where he demonstrates a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and welcoming community centered on faith, love, and service.
Born on April 23, 1992, in Detroit, Michigan, to Vernika A. Burnett and Lawrence A. Harris, Pastor Lawrence (often referred to as PL) grew up in the Northern side of Detroit. His journey in ministry began at a young age, as he felt a clear calling to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As a child he was actively engaged with individuals by holding services on neighborhood porches, reaching out to those who may not attend traditional church services.
Pastor Lawrence has pursued a robust academic foundation, earning numerous Theology degree from Zoe Fellowship Bible College. He is also continuing his studies in Religious Studies at the same institution. Additionally, he has benefited from training at the American Baptist Theological Seminary at American Baptist College in Nashville, TN, where he gained profound insights into scripture and church teachings.
Guided by the belief that "all saints have a past and all sinners have a future in Jesus," Pastor Lawrence is not only a devoted leader but also prides himself on being a loving father, brother, and friend, dedicated to sharing the love of Jesus Christ with others.
